The problem being, we eat too much....OK we don't look like we do....well some days, but in general we would go broke if we were to open a café
Another problem we seem to stumble upon is the fact that we enjoy baking, we love the praise and thrive on the stress of creating something belt-busting for those afternoon tea's we occasionally put on !
To perform this activity on a daily basis is for the brave of heart and the thick skinned of this world...we seem to care to much, it goes beyond food for us, its an experience....a moment where silence falls around the room apart from the odd whimper of delight !
To keep any passion alive....work at your own pace, not somebody else's....keep surprising people with your talents and feed them just enough so that the hunger will always be there......so I repeat, we will NOT be opening a café anytime soon, our kitchen on the other hand is always open for those that bake, those that eat....and on a final note....for those that know the difference between a Friande and a muffin....the person that thinks the latter will be sent to the corner to contemplate their mistake !
