Woe is me.....I hear them cry !
OK, I am not a millionaire...and my successes have been few and far between.
Opportunity often throws itself at people and yet they seem blind to it....opportunity comes in many shapes and sizes, colours and forms...so very often it is neglected through lack of vision or ignorance !
Observing business in NZ, it astounds me as to the constant struggles that go on...with people, lack of direction in business and sheer stupidity....negativity is the only thing that sells these days....is it not time to shift this way of thinking ?
We all do it, we all want some attention and success doesn't seem to get us across the line....drama, daily struggles and the "Oh my life is such a disaster" does....why do we do it ?
Admitting we are wrong can be a bitter pill for most of us to swallow...and yet its the only way we learn, there is nothing to be gained by others if you openly speak of your failings...try to hide them and they dig and dig until something appears.
It is said that a trouble shared is a trouble halved.....and yet we fail to see the opportunity in this !
Share information, reveal everything....leave no stone unturned and there will be no secrets for others to discover...to use in a way that deflects the interest away from them...until we learn to talk it out, risk offending each other with the truth, then it will continue...this cancerous negativity that will ultimately devour us all !
So, consider putting misery on a diet....starve it of food, of oxygen...share your story, tell people how it is and ask for assistance, if your intention is to bathe in sorrow and sadness...then that is what you will get in return !
If however you honestly and truthfully want to find a way out of this hole you have found yourself in...opportunity will present itself in the most unexpected ways....it will come to you....you truly must believe that you deserve better in life....not in a selfish way that will furnish a large house in the country surrounded by things...because loneliness will be the result !
Ask yourself what it is you want ?
If you want to be happy.....then go out and help others be happy....it will spread like sunshine on an open field....but be honest....because as we know.....Misery loves company !
