Would it make a difference......?

Is it wrong to be honest ?

Are we all so insecure that we need constant reassurance from those around us ?

We have reached a place where the need, that desperate need to be congratulated, encouraged, spoon-fed words of a positive nature that we find the lines are now blurred between reality and fantasy !

In the conversations I engage in on a daily basis, I have become acutely aware of how words can hurt, hinder and stifle and yet in the natural world if a bird doesn't find food for itself...to be self-driven it will perish !

I know life not as black and white as that, but do we really need to be so politically correct with each other in order to foster relationships ?

For my part, if an opinion is sought.....I will give it, if someone is fishing for undeserved compliments, they will go hungry and yes I can be that blunt.
I see no point in preparing you for a world that will treat you as you would find in the animal kingdom.....face it, life is hard and only the strong survive.

There are no short-cuts, no smooth road ahead.

If you do not struggle in life at some point, you will never learn how to survive.
We all want to have our moment in the sun, to be acknowledged, appreciated, understood...but only through truth will we get there !

So I ask ?

Would it honestly make a difference to your day if I congratulated you on something that was a natural course of action ?

Only by following your own inner wisdom, your own inner truth will you find the encouragement you need to go further in this world.
It is a beautiful thing when words come to us from a place of love and love is the one deciding factor that fuels the world...but it must at all costs be based on truth.

So...would you prefer that I stood alongside you, encouraged you by being part of your journey for however long...or would you like me to drape you in falsehoods and untruths to make you feel better about your decisions ?

Only you can answer
