An area of limited proportions !
From an early age we discover boundaries.....ours and other people's.
When a person has a passion for something, a sense of self preservation becomes habitual in the everyday dealings with those around you.
By developing a respect for others, you discover respect for yourself.....this raises you above those that have attempted to cheat the system, to expect something for nothing...often seeking out the short-cut to gain a small win !
Now would be an ideal time to take a look at your life, where you live, how you interact with others and the world...have you set yourself some boundaries ?
We all build fences, in some cases to protect our homes, our loved ones, our achievements...this isn't a bad thing !
Unless you define your space, draw that line, then you as well as others will blur into the horizon...there will be no point A or point B for others to use as a guide.
Over the years I have dismantled some fences...boundaries, and put up others, as I learn what motivates others I feel it necessary to keep some people out, I repeat, this isn't a bad thing...there is no free lunch in this world, there are cost's to one's actions...boundaries and fences are often there for a reason !
I won't cross lines put up by others when I know full well there is reason behind their actions, our personal histories should serve as a guide going forward...unless of course you want to give everything you have away ?
Understanding a community is a long and arduous path, there are many variations as there are people in this world, we all have varying expectations, but each of us must remember...we are not the same, we won't always agree and should always define our spaces by who we are !
it is not for me to question where the words come from, I just know they are not intended for me, I give voice to my eyes and all they capture. Inspiration and creativity comes from the most humble and unexpected places and for that I shall always be grateful. I write of Love or loss, people and places that move me to tears and of course there will always be food......Passion comes in many a strange and wonderful package !
