Having spent some of the day in the garden moving plants to take advantage of more light and adding to what is already our little patch of green, we feel at ease tonight.
With little to interest us on TV we headed out once more to sit in the garden, cooler now and quiet....the light fading while giving hints of colour across the evening sky.
With a dog at my feet, we watched the day drift away, birds making their way home for the night and the breeze dropping leaving this space calm.
It is a beautiful time of the day, you can hear the earth sigh as it achieves another rotation.....eventually I move inside to capture my thoughts before they are gone like the setting sun, an intense sense of home filling my heart.
Tonight I am truly in love, with the man at my side, my girls and the place I now call home...maybe everything is right in the world...my world and I am grateful for all I have, the evening light can shine into places rarely seen...exposing beauty often missed in the middle of the day !
