I am not a political animal !

I watch with more than a slight interest the shuffling, pushing and bullying that appears to be happening on the world stage....and I wonder....when did we all become so self centered, so mean spirited that we accept this state of affairs as normal ?

I repeat.....I AM NOT A POLITICAL ANIMAL.....obviously others are as they push their way to the front of the trough !

It has become acceptable to breed greed, make a name for oneself by stepping over the weak, the hungry.....those that over time have been beaten down by life.

It appears we have become the thing we have feared for so long....Self !

We have accepted it as normal and don't tell me otherwise, if we had all stood together to push back this tide of greed, destruction and stripping away of all decency then we would not be witnessing the death throes of this world.

My description is not overrated, it is however the way it is....we are quite happy to step over sacred ground to lay our oil pipe.....poison every ocean so that we can dress ourselves in plastic.....and I wonder where it will all end, when will it end ?

I don't have the answers, but those that we employ....YES employ, obviously don't have the answers either and it really is time to question everything, protest is not enough....accountability is !

DO NOT offer me the world while you line your walls with gold, DO NOT promise what you know you can never deliver....if your going to stand for something, stand but don't do it alone !

As I said, I am not a political animal and no I don't have answers...but we MUST find those that do, we MUST find our way back to some humanity....or as I fear....all will be lost !
