The Bigger Picture !

 

I am not a political animal....I am however outspoken when it comes to the things in life that affect me personally.

 

Recently a few things have caused ripples in the Universal plan....certain behaviours, actions, reactions...call them what you will, these things that have given me an opportunity to examine my world in more detail.

 

The local body elections are due in our region and we have all these people jumping up and down, making promises, yelling from the rooftops....."Vote for Me"....and now I ask myself Why ?

 

What is it that you will do...can do that will change my life for the better, do you just want my vote so you can continue having your meetings and air conditioned comfort while the world burns around you ?

 

As I said...I am NOT a political animal, never have been and never will be...I AM however a Self-preservationist.....I look out for my own Family, my own Friends and my own environment, because without a solid foundation of the former....I have nothing, I am alone !

 

So I ask....what is it you can do for me ?......you all seem to expect so much from us, to keep you in the privilaged position you enjoy so much !

 

The media have reported recently on a Cat issue within our country...but the bigger picture is......do cat's pollinate plants...tree's, do they spreads seeds far and wide, do they eat certain bugs so that others can thrive...this is the bigger picture, and these facts are what makes up the checks and balances in my decision making process.

 

This goes much further than cats, the lives of Hollywood A listers bore me rigid, we will never meet for coffee, so I focus on what is important to me !

 

So I ask, generations from now, when people ask.....Why didn't anyone change a situation, act upon something to improve the health, wellbeing and general future of generations to come.....here and now you have your answer !

 

If you expect something of others, be prepared to offer something in return, be honest, be prepared and most of all be the one thing you wanted in the first place.....Change !

 

If you can't be honest....stay home, stay out of the way and stay quiet !
