OK.......so you want me to understand ?
Simplify it for me, help me understand....educate me !
We all move through this world on our own path, led by various forces....seen and unseen, from the mystical to the mundane, we all believe in something.....don't we ?
For each of us to get along with our fellow humans we need to understand, we need to talk, to be open and to share......this doesn't mean following blindly, but finding out where certain ideas and ideals have come from...their origins !
The beauty of the human species is that we are all different...and yet we are all the same, we want to be loved, understood and ultimately accepted...we are pack animals after all.
The one thing I will ask is that you be open in you're explanations, be prepared to question your own faith, your own path...where did your understand come from and are you able to pin-point that moment in time where it all made sense ?
Remember, faith is not enough......mystical stories and magic tricks passed down through the ages are not reason enough to follow anyone or anything into the great beyond.....we must at all costs begin to understand eachother....listen to eachother and learn that our differences are what makes our home the special place it is.
I will not under any circumstances follow a faith based on two thousand year old scripture based on a game of Chinese whispers...this applies to all faiths...all religions...blind faith is not enough.
So I repeat...let's pretend I'm stupid.....help me understand and together we may build a better tomorrow !
