Consider this,
Every action has a reaction, every word spoken arrives where it is needed, every aspect of every day settles where it needs to.....our perceived control of our lives is skewed.....we have no control.
Your New year awaits.....there is only one person that can implement change, measure your words with caution, consider the end result....much like a broken tree, splinters of wood can spread far and wide !
Too much blame has been laid at the feet of the passing year..."it was awful" I hear people say and yes so much of the past year was negative that is certainly true, but without the actions of individuals....the words of some, it may have been different, we all have a role in this production.
Its now time to look forward, every step you make should be one towards tomorrow, acknowledge those lessons from yesterday, learn from them, but don't let them shape what is to come....we cannot see beyond a moment in time, none of us have that ability.....not even your God.
The older I get, the more grateful I become to be given the opportunity to do the work required, as battle-weary as I am...I know that every day is an offering, to be with those we love, to mend fences and to build bridges that will take us to places we had never considered before.
So as you greet each other on the street today, make sure you live by those words.....every single day !
