Can you do this alone ?
Do you as an individual have what it take to make this world a better place ?
If, with your hand on your heart cannot answer yes honestly...accept then and acknowledge the skills of those around you.
Understand that a flower will only bloom if there is rain to sustain it...fruit will only ripen with the power of the sun.
In this world there is a diverse range of men, women and children of varying ethnic backgrounds, cultural differences and genders that are being constantly reminded that they have no place, no voice and no platform to stand upon.
I personally am not what you expect...I never will be !
I do however have a voice and a place to stand in this world !
As a gay man I am intrigued by your ability to mark your line in the sand and state that people of a certain type cannot cross it.
Consider for a moment what we do ?
We create and design, we work, we pay taxes, we move in, through and around your world for the most part unseen as the discomfort you feel and are quite happy to express loud and clear for all to hear might unsettle the masses.
Yet you still want food grown and produced, service at your coffee shop and designer clothing and fragrance to enhance your appearance ?
I accept this is NOT purely the domain and property of the gay community....we judge ourselves enough already, but when you exclude certain so-called types of people a rot begins in this world.
Lines begin to be drawn across many parts of this world that should never be....if this were to occur in the natural world then Mother nature for want of a better term would swiftly deal with the imbalance.
There is still so much ugliness in this world, but slowly we remove these borders...Women for instance are still considered less than they should be in many parts of this world and yet you still want your dinner on the table and your shirts pressed !
It is not a male Vs female situation, nor is it gay Vs straight....black Vs white....it is however about building a better world.....Together !
