For reasons beyond my understanding these days I contemplate my surroundings...those that I share my world with and the daily interactions I encounter.
Despite dressing in clothing from a time long since past, I spend less time than I ever have looking over my shoulder.
Not every day is full of fun, excitement...challenges, but most are !
I find myself among Family...not my own by blood, but a group of individuals that were drawn together...we may never really understand the process of the so called laws of attraction, but its a real thing.
We spend time together, not out of duty or responsibility, but because we want to feed our hearts and souls with something good...something that shines light back and fourth upon eachother.
I catch myself looking at each person as a looking glass, reflecting what each of us need to see in ourselves...it may not always be what we expect, but it is what we need and from this I find myself full, I yearn for nothing but their company and without fail...I am rewarded.
It is a curious situation when we are out together, onlookers turn and stare...far be it for me to judge what passes through their minds, but I do see a tiny glimpse of envy...I witness their desire to behave as we do, free of concern for what others may think of us...this Family of ours is a strong and formidable force, together we complete eachother !
We may never know the twists and turns of our path ahead, but surround yourself with honesty and goodness and you will see in yourself what others see...you will find that one elusive element we all spend our lives searching for...happiness.
