There isn't much to see is there ?
Look again...
What impression do we leave upon our world, what will be our lasting legacy ?
So often I see signs left by those that care a little more than the majority of us......"Take nothing but photographs and memories"......"Leave nothing but footprints in the sand"
Rarely do we heed this advice !
So I ask again, what will be your legacy as you move forward today ?
Will you leave this earth in better shape than when you first encountered it ?
Or will you be so self obsessed that nothing else matters....a trail of destruction left in your wake....a notice to others you were here....you mattered !
A bird wandering along the beach does not concern itself with such matters, it walks forward in an attempt to survive, to exist, to play its part in this world....contribute where it can and then gently slip from sight leaving nothing but tiny marks in the sand that will vanish as the tide washes in.
Can we not as a species behave in the same manner ?
Must we imprint on this fragile planet of ours such a stain, something so permanent that we damage its very being ?
We are here for such a small amount of time...can we not make it count ?
Today...what will be your moment of impact ?
