It's not a case of regret.......a yearning to turn back time and change the past, it is just a fanciful thought of you and wondering where you are now !
I wander through the pictures of our travels, the places that shaped who I am now...where I was when I heard and it always brings me back to you.
Maybe you see everything I do, the places I go and the people I meet, maybe you whisper to me, words of caution when turning down a certain path.....I like to think so !
Do we ever examine our past and those moments that had brought us joy....maybe.....it is possibly an age thing, life is moving far too fast when you're young.
I find now that sadness is no longer hanging round me like a damp cloak, I know I can turn to you at a moments notice and smile....knowing you see what I see.
If only humanity realized, maybe loss wouldn't be so painful....we do not cry when the seasons change....so what is it that fill us with such dread ?
As time passes, I look back, Yes.........
But I also look forward, to all those places I have yet to see....those people I have yet to meet and know you will be right here with me.
