As the sun climbs my phone hums in the dark morning...its from a Friend in Italy, wearily I reach out to find beautiful images of roses.
She speaks of the season ahead, the promise of Summer and the beauty that unfolds around her...and here in the darkened cold morning Autumn reaches across our land.
It is a timely reminder that change occurs everywhere...and for everyone !
As the earth turns, we must be ready for whatever comes our way, I realize that my time in the sun has past for now and I must seek out beauty of a different kind...brushstrokes across the sky much like a stunning landscape painting show me the wonder of change.
As I walk along the stream, leaves of various colours catch my eye...their vibrancy proving that beauty can be found in every corner of the universe.
I return home with the sun warming my face now...our day begins and the colours are changing yet again, I accept the changes around me.
As we move through life, acceptance of change is what separates us all...some people find this easier than others, but nature is a wonderful teacher...she waits for no man, woman or child.
Walk with her and you will see such wonders...remains still and change will rob you of this joy.
I look out the window now, my kitchen window where the world plays out like an ever changing theatrical scene...The sun casts colour through the last of the berry leaves...rusty reds and gold's fill my senses...I know roses will come back next year and I am grateful that my Friend wants to share her joy with me.
As Autumn comes, I realize how grateful I am for the opportunity to observe change...to be part of change, I turn from the window now ready to begin my day !
